Zeus... you've done it again!

Time for Salutamu.

This was a first-timer for Salutamu — and what a debut! Big thumbs up for the idea, La Valette 👏

It all kicked off on Wednesday evening: engines rumbling, spirits high, and a solid crew ready for a proper adventure.

After the usual Virtu Ferries banter (you know the type…), we headed for a quick dinner in Pozzallo. Nothing fancy — just fuelling up for what was ahead.

Thursday was a more relaxed affair. We rode out to Ortigia — great weather, great food, no complaints. Later in the afternoon we cruised over to Acireale and paid a visit to the dealership… where, naturally, we all did our part to support the local economy (some more generously than others 💸).

Hotel nearby, and yes — believe it or not — we walked to dinner. HOGs can walk too… just not very far, and preferably after parking the bikes safely!

Friday was all about Licata. We linked up with our Etna Chapter friends and hit the road together. Great ride, great vibes. At the chapter’s clubhouse, we were welcomed with a proper party — top-notch hospitality and even better people. Absolute class.

Saturday? Palermo calling. Another smooth, dry ride (we were getting used to this!). The hotel was right by the beach — not bad at all. And just to keep things consistent… yes, another party in the evening at the chapter’s clubhouse. Music, drinks, laughs, and the kind of company you don’t forget.

Sunday morning… a bit of a colder start. Recovery seems to take longer these days — still trying to figure out why 🤔

Plans were flexible. After a solid breakfast with our Etna friends, we pointed the bikes back toward Pozzallo. We stopped in Enna for fuel and coffee, then took the scenic (and slightly longer) route. Naturally, lunch had to happen — because HOGs must eat… even when they’re wet. And yes, Zeus decided to join in again… just to keep things interesting 🌧️

All in all, another unforgettable weekend: bikes, friends, food, and plenty of kilometres.
