Adieu mon ami 🧡🖤

What a run this has been… a great run… an amazing run… and yes, one hell of a blast!

I never thought I’d be the one writing this final note—but here we are. Life has a funny way of putting you in the rider’s seat when you least expect it.

Being one of the newer members, I can honestly say that La Valette exceeded every expectation. Saying the group was “alive” doesn’t quite cut it—it was a full-on, roaring engine. Vibrant, positive, and constantly pulling in new blood. And somehow, despite our size, we kept a sense of unity that many would envy.

My fellow officers and I always did our best for the group. If we ever fell short, I sincerely apologise. Just know that our intentions were always in the right place—even if sometimes the GPS wasn’t.

A big shout-out to our mates at Etna Chapter. Time and again, you’ve shown what the H.O.G. spirit truly means. Words can’t even begin to express what you’ve meant to us, but we stand tall and promise our full support and friendship moving forward!

Looking back at everything we’ve been through would take longer than one of our rides (and that’s saying something). What really matters is what La Valette became: a solid group of riders and friends from all walks of life. Different opinions, beliefs, village feasts—and probably different riding styles too—but united by two key things:

• a love for Harley-Davidson

• and a genuine respect for each other

Time and time again, we’ve shown that with those two ingredients, we’re a pretty unbeatable mix.

Now, this chapter is coming to an end, and a new one is beginning (pun very much intended). The world isn’t ending, the bikes aren’t stopping—this is just another road for us to ride. Another chance to show what being an LVM member is all about.

I also want to reassure everyone that we’ve worked hard to make this upcoming merger as fair as possible. I understand some may feel we could have done things differently, and for that, I’m sorry. That was never our intention.

What I do know is this—we’ve got everything we need to make this next step a success. We’ve done it before, and we’ll do it again. We know how to turn any place into home… especially if there’s good company and a few Harleys parked outside.

On a personal note, thank you all for the friendship, the support, and the memories. It’s been a privilege riding alongside you.

Here’s to the next chapter—done the La Valette way.
