Riding Together with La Valette Malta

Yet another great weekend together with the La Valette Malta community. After the fun of the Trinacria National Rally in Sicily, we spent the week cleaning and preparing our bikes for more rides. On Saturday, some of us met at the clubhouse for 'Saturday Garage Days' to share stories from Sicily and make plans for upcoming events.
It was an exciting week for two of our members. Malcolm finalized his purchase of the Harley-Davidson Fatboy 30th Anniversary, a beautiful bike that many admire. Christian Micallef also introduced the PAN America CVO within our group and possibly the first of its kind on the island. These moments added to the lively atmosphere at the V-twin shop.

Sunday morning started early at The Kettles in Mrieħel. By 9:30 AM, over 34 bikes were ready to go. Some of us enjoyed a hearty breakfast, which caused a slight delay, but the mood was relaxed and cheerful. At 9:45, we gathered for a quick briefing led by our Ambassador and Head Road Captain. We discussed upcoming events like the Island-to-Island weekend, the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride and the day in Gozo. We also celebrated the birthdays of three members and welcomed the Montalto couple as new members.

After a group photo at the brewery’s open theatre steps, we set off on our ride. We rode through the Central Link, Zebbug Bypass, Siggiewi, Mqabba, Zabbar, Kalkara, and ended at Smart City. The fountain was dry, so we parked our bikes neatly and spent time relaxing in the open square.
Around midday, some members headed home, while others stayed for a group lunch at The Londoner. Later, a smaller group stopped for coffee at Dolce Sicilia in Luqa before calling it a day.

It was another enjoyable weekend spent riding and connecting. With more events ahead—including the Island-to-Island weekend, DGR, Gozo day, and the trip to Croatia—we are looking forward to the next adventures together.
