Love, Chrome & Hot Loud Pipes: When Garage Saturday Meets a Carnival of Passion

It’s been a while since we last wrote about it, but Garage Saturdays still rock — and yesterday was no exception. A solid crew rolled in at WKD for the weekly catch-up: coffee in hand, plenty of banter, and the usual day-dreaming about our bikes. Because let’s be honest… planning the next upgrade is almost as good as riding. Almost.

From WKD we cruised over to Amuri for the customary “just one drink”… which, as always, turned into a couple. Great vibe, great company, and the main topic of the day — the Carnival of Passion. Costumes were discussed with the seriousness of a pit-lane strategy meeting, and yes, there was some healthy competition in the air.

Later we met at Nardi in Salini — perfect setup, fantastic crowd, and costumes that definitely did not disappoint.

Big thumbs up to Charles and Venera for taking home the win in the costume competition!

The laughter kept rolling all night, helped along by the vocal talents of Horace, Lucienne and Alexia, who generously shared their voices (and made the rest of us reconsider our karaoke ambitions).

We also celebrated a couple of birthdays — proof that while our bikes stay timeless, some of their owners are… well… gaining “classic” status. 😄

That unmistakable La Valette vibe was there as always:

where the ordinary feels extraordinary,

and where the fun just flows.

Now all we need is for the weather gods to stop playing hard to get, pack winter away, and give us proper riding weather — because the chrome is polished, the pipes are loud, and we’re more than ready.
