H.O.G. Ladies National Run 2025 – Reggio Emilia, Italy

And here it was at last — the much-anticipated weekend of the H.O.G. Ladies National Run 2025 in Reggio Emilia. And oh, what a ride it turned out to be!

Friday – The Prep and the Departure

Preparation day. Repacking for the 100th time. Trying to make sure all the pink gadgets fit into that impossibly tiny hand luggage (honestly, who invented low-cost airline baggage rules?). Finally, late evening — airport time. Off to Bologna! A “boring-fun” ride, as we like to call it — equal parts excitement and sleep deprivation.

Saturday – Full Throttle Fun

After a blink-and-you-missed-it night’s sleep, we hit the café opposite the hotel for a quick breakfast before hopping on the 9:30 train to Reggio Emilia with our Etna Chapter friends. Forty-five minutes of chatter, laughter, and the electric buzz of what was to come.

Once we arrived, we dropped our luggage at the Airone Hotel (yes, opposite an airfield — the name checks out!) and headed straight to Onorio Harley-Davidson Correggio. What a scene! A full-blown Harley hive of activity — engines, laughter, and of course... shopping. Naturally, we couldn’t resist a few purchases. How could we possibly fail at that mission?

After a well-earned lunch (fuel for the adrenaline, obviously), it was time for a quick beauty nap — because we had to be ready for the party of the year!

Ruote da Sogno – A Dream on Wheels

The venue said it all: Ruote da Sogno — “Wheels of Dreams.” And it truly was. Imagine over 550 classic bikes and 200 classic cars, all gleaming under soft lights. For us petrolheads, it was pure heaven.

Then the night kicked in — and oh, what a night! Good vibes, good music, great company, and... yes, plenty of booze. Everything was pink, sparkly, and perfectly over the top. We were the dancing queens, we laughed, toasted, and lived the H.O.G. life to the fullest.

Sunday – Parade & Pride

Sunday morning was parade day, and the excitement was sky-high. Our very own Phyllis led the way, proudly carrying our chapter’s flag atop a Low Rider — a moment of pure pride for the whole crew.

The setting? Piazza della Vittoria, filled with 350 bikes and over 900 Ladies of Harley from across Italy and beyond. It wasn’t just a parade — it was a celebration of spirit, solidarity, and strength.

Together, we raised €16,000 in support of Fondazione Veronesi (breast cancer research) and Una Nessuna Centomila (fighting violence against women). Big thumbs up to every single lady who made that happen — you rock!

And because the weekend wasn’t quite fabulous enough, Carmelo treated the ladies to lunch in honour of Cinzia’s birthday. Perfect ending, perfect family — because the Etna Chapter truly is one big, roaring, loving family.

Eventually, we had to head home — tired but happy, hearts full, and faces sore from smiling. Memories made, bonds strengthened, and stories that’ll be retold for years (possibly louder each time).

We love the H.O.G. life.

Ciao for Now!

See you next year, ladies — and yes, we’ll be kicking some chrome again!
