Highlights of February Events - La Valette Malta HOG

On the 2nd of February, we enjoyed a beautiful Sunday ride contrary to earlier forecasts. New members were welcomed as we embarked on an exciting journey through Marsa, Three Cities, Żabbar, Kalkara, and Marsascala, concluding at Ghaxaq with a delightful lunch at Wild West Birgu Waterfront.

Fast forward to the 10th of February, despite a rainy weekend, we rescheduled our ride for Monday, a public holiday. We started in Mriehel, navigated through heavy clouds, and stopped for a warm coffee at Dolce Sicilia. Although the ride was cut short, we regrouped for a friendly lunch at Cafe Cuba.

By the 16th of February, we were back on our Harleys, riding through scenic routes from Mdina to Blue Grotto and Cospicua, with a refreshing break at Kalkara Square. Many of us continued to St. Thomas Bay for lunch at Legends Restaurant, making it another memorable day.

On the 22nd of February, over 20 Harleys gathered at WKD Showroom. After discussing upcoming events, we rode through Żebbug, Rabat, and Dingli cliffs, stopping at Bobbyland for snacks and photos, concluding the day at the Rotta Meet-Up in Mriehel.

Despite road closures from the Malta marathon on the 23rd of February, we embarked on an early ride to the northwest coast. Passing through Dingli cliffs and Gnejna Bay, we enjoyed traditional pastizzi and coffee. The day ended with a delightful lunch at Il Cortile Restaurant, where we celebrated members' birthdays.

Carnival Weekend was a grand finale on the 1st of March! We started with a buzzing Saturday at WKD and a ride to Mr Sofrito for his famous millionaire toast.

We closed the month with a blast at our Carnival party, where members and esteemed Harley Davidson dealership directors joined the event at House of Flavors. It was a medieval spectacle with creative costumes, music, laughter, and a costume catwalk. The night was filled with music, dancing, laughter, and a friendly costume competition. It was a fantastic way to end February and kick off March, celebrating together with great fun and vibrant spirit.

The day after, despite cloudy weather, our Sunday morning ride continued, where afterwards we met for a group lunch at The Marleys along with the members and the Harley Davidson Catania dealership and ending with a celebratory lunch, birthday cakes, and the announcement of the best carnival costume.
