First Official Event 2025 - AGM Meeting

26th January was a day to remember for our AGM meeting, and we were blessed with perfect riding weather. Our members started arriving at The Kettles in Mriehel around 08:30. The atmosphere was electric; it was clear that this was going to be a great day together! ❤

The road captains were busy finalizing plans, ensuring everything was set for a safe and smooth journey.👊

At 09:45, our leader, Silvio Caruana, called for our attention. He delivered the route brief and reminded everyone of the safety tips. Ludwig, our lead, detailed the journey ahead. After some spirited group photos, we saddled up, and the roar of 40 Harley engines echoed like a symphony of freedom.🤝

We embarked on a scenic ride through Rabat, Bahrija, and the heart of Mgarr. We navigated the serene limits of Ghajn Tuffieha, cruised through St. Paul’s Bypass, and followed the Coast Road to our destination at Corinthia St Georges. Our arrival was marked by the sight of reserved parking for our iron horses.🤛

The ride was well-coordinated by our road captains, who kept the group tightly knit and safe throughout the journey.👊

After a short sun-soaked rest, we moved to the conference room for the AGM meeting, led by our esteemed Ambassador, Silvio Caruana. The meeting kicked off with a captivating video prepared by our officer Elton Micallef, showcasing our bikes during the November Charity Ride.🖤🧡👍

Updates on membership, HOG information, and social media were presented. The Exco Committee members and officers were confirmed and honored with a small gift for their contributions in 2024.🎁

Elton Micallef, our webmaster officer, gave a brief overview of the new group website, a testament to our club's continuous growth and innovation. Treasurer Frank Camilleri presented the financial report. 🏦

In the meeting’s second part, Silvio shared valuable group riding tips. A nice video capturing the best moments of last year was shared during this meeting, all material prepared and edited by the same Silvio Caruana. Our activities officer, Oliver Cassar, unveiled the 2025 calendar 📅. We celebrated new members and held a full patching-up ceremony, capturing the moment with group photos.

Before concluding, the committee announced the winners of the T-Shirt competition—congratulations to Omar Farrugia (1st prize) and Rachel Cremona (runner-up)!🏆

Our Manager Adrian Vella's closing words resonated with gratitude, emphasizing our club’s strength and unity.👊

After the meeting, we enjoyed a delightful lunch at Henry J Beans. The 60 members relished good food and great company. A short walk on the lido for more photos added to the day's joy.🍔

We ended by celebrating the January birthdays under the warm afternoon sun, overlooking the tranquil blue sea. Coffee on the terrace wrapped up a perfect day.

In conclusion, it was a fantastic day with the HOGs. A big thank you to all 60+ members for making our first official event of the year a resounding success!
