Wrapping August in style - Calabrone Biefing

The last Saturday of August was another great evening for a ride. Despite the hot weather earlier in the month, we were determined to keep the riding spirit alive. We met up at Luxol Pembroke, next to X Raffles, where we spent some time relaxing and enjoying each other's company.

After Silvio Caruana's briefing, around quarter past eight, we set off on an easy route along the coast road, passing through St Paul's bypass, Ghajn Tuffieha, and Attard, before ending at Mriehel Farsons brewery house. The ride was smooth throughout, with perfect parking for our bikes at the end point, opposite to The Kettles.

Oliver and Silvio, briefed us about the upcoming Calabrone weekend, going through the itinerary and emphasizing safety riding and the essential gear.

Dinner followed, with good food and pleasant company. The evening breeze added to the ambiance. After dinner, some of us headed home, while others took a short ride to Sliema for ice cream, extending the evening in the best possible way.

The evening ride wrapped up August on a high note, following a month filled with amazing rides and fun events like Hogs by the pool. We're now hyped up for another exciting month of riding, including the highly anticipated Calabrone run!
