Expectations were sky-high following Saturday’s fantastic gathering, and Sunday didn’t disappoint! The roar of bikes filled the Maltese roads from early morning.

The La Valette bikers were no exception. Despite road closures due to the Malta marathon, our determined riders began gathering at The Kettles as early as 08:30! Under the clear blue sky, members enjoyed their morning coffee, eager for a ride to the picturesque northwest coast.

By 09:30, over 30 Harleys of all models and colours were lined up, waiting for their owners to fire up their engines for another unforgettable ride.

Our Ambassador Silvio Caruana called for attention to share updates and handed over to Sandro Anastasi, our dedicated road captain. He briefed the riders on the route and emphasized safety tips. We welcomed a new member, Alan Micallef, and gave a loud shout to Mark (the Snake) on his birthday.

With engines rumbling, the bikes were ready for the signal to twist the throttle. Sandro led the 30-bike long convoy towards Mriehel, through Żebbuġ, and along the breathtaking Dingli cliffs. The ride continued through Simblija, Tas-Santi, and down to Gnejna Bay, showcasing Malta's majestic countryside and serene blue sea.

Parking our bikes wherever we found an empty spot, we headed to the popular kiosk for traditional pastizzi, chilled drinks, and coffee, soaking in the sun's warmth. Everyone found a spot to relax and chat, reluctant to leave as the sun recharged us for another week.

Around noon, some members began heading home, while a group of around 20 stayed for a delightful lunch. The lunch group rode through Mġarr, Mosta outskirts, and Birkirkara bypass, finally arriving at Il Cortile Restaurant in San Ġwann. Our table was nicely organized under the shade, perfect for an afternoon of laughter with the HOGs

Some members hinted at their carnival costumes, teasing us with no details. Despite a longer wait for food, it was worth it. A surprise birthday cake celebrated Joe Gatt, Chris Micallef, and Oliver Cassar. Our joyful singing filled the restaurant, leaving curious onlookers wondering about our celebration.

After coffees and fresh cake, the day ended. We were tired but content after a fantastic weekend together, doing what we love most—meeting and riding under Malta's perfect February weather.

Now, all eyes are on next weekend's official Carnival Party at House of Flavors! We'll also welcome the HD Catania Dealership for a friendly Sunday lunch together.
