La Valette Malta's Mid-Week Ride on St. Joseph's Day

Taking advantage of the public holiday in Malta for St. Joseph's Day, our La Valette Malta members gathered at The Kettles for a mid-week ride. The pleasant breeze was a welcome change after the higher temperatures of the past days, and despite the short notice on social media, over 20 bikes showed up, ready to hit the road.

Our road captains decided to adjust the route to avoid the eastern coast due to the strong east wind. The new plan took us through the outskirts of Rabat and Mosta, passing the scenic village of Gharghur. The ride ended at the serene Ghajn Tuffieha Bay, where we were greeted by stunning views of the sandy beach, already bustling with sunbathers enjoying the day.

As we were about to begin, our fellow officer Michael Vigo Camenzuli ran into some clutch issues and couldn’t get his bike running. An officer and two members immediately went to assist him while the group carried on with the ride, showing the supportive spirit that defines our club.

At Ghajn Tuffieha Bay, we took some time to relax and enjoy snacks and chilled beers together. Much of the conversation revolved around our upcoming offshore events in April and June, which always bring excitement. These trips, taking us across Sicily and up the eastern Adriatic coast to Croatia, are a highlight for everyone, offering the chance to fully enjoy the freedom of the open roads.

By midday, members began heading off in smaller groups, either to return home or to continue their day with a lunch outing. With just two working days left before the weekend, everyone was already looking forward to reuniting on Saturday for our popular Garage Days at WKD Attard.

At La Valette Malta, it’s all about riding together and sharing our passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles. The destinations are great, but it’s the journey that brings us closer as a group.

We are La Valette Malta - We ride with pride everywhere and all year round!
