Just Another Weekend in the Saddle

For La Valette, this was nothing out of the ordinary. Just another weekend doing what we do best—riding, repping our colours, and keeping the HOG spirit alive. Most people would call it a special weekend. Us? We just call it Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday night, even with half the crew tied up with work and travel, a tight pack still rolled into our home turf—Kettles in Mriehel. Cold drink, quick jokes, then Frank, our road captain, laid down the ride plan. Simple but sweet: Buskett, Dingli, Siggiewi, Zurrieq, Luqa, Marsaskala, and down to St. Thomas Bay. 37 clicks of smooth rhythm. No hiccups. Just chrome, throttle, and the road.

At Zion, we parked up, smashed some good food, and laughed over the rally pics coming in from our Ladies of Harley who were attending the Ladies of Harley National Run 2025 in Reggio Emilia —those women know how to throw it down and make us proud. Couple of hours later, we called it in, already plotting the next day’s ride.

Sunday morning? Same energy, new route. Back at Kettles, kickstands up, heading north until we hit Golden Bay—Apple’s Eye. Sun blazing, chill weather, road wide open. We parked, grabbed a cold one, snapped a few photos, shared some laughs, then peeled off back to real life and family duties.

For some, this weekend would be one for the books. For us at La Valette, it was just another chapter in the same story: ride hard, laugh louder, represent stronger.

That’s the way of the HOG. That’s the way of La Valette Malta.
