Coastal Rides, Blue Grotto Wonders & Unforgettable Vibes

Thursday set the perfect tone as we welcomed the Duemari Chapter for the much-anticipated Island to Island event. The day was spent riding through the historic streets of Mdina, indulging in Maltese delights like pastizzi and ftira, and savoring the refreshing taste of Cisk beer.

Friday proved just as spectacular! With our guests arriving early, our ambassador swiftly organized a full day of riding and sightseeing. Some of the local La Valette Malta members joined in, eager to experience their home country from a fresh perspective.

We kicked off at 9 AM, gathering at the Vivaldi Hotel to meet our friends from Calabria. The weather was perfect, and we set off along the stunning Sliema coast, passing through Valletta’s charming historic streets before heading south to Marsaxlokk. There, we admired the colorful fishing boats and breathtaking sea views before making a scenic stop at Kalanka Lighthouse.

Our adventure continued at Wied iż-Żurrieq, where rugged cliffs meet the deep blue sea. We seized the opportunity to take a boat ride to the famous Blue Grotto—a sight so mesmerizing that even the locals felt like tourists for the day!

Following the boat trip, we enjoyed a refreshing break with snacks and a cold beer at Step In Restaurant, soaking in the picturesque surroundings. Before heading back to the hotel, we made an important stop at the clubhouse, where our guests met our group manager and WKD Workshop and La Valette Malta Clubhouse director, Adrian Vella.

As night fell, excitement grew for the arrival of the Etna Chapter! By 8 PM, Marsa Ferry Port buzzed with Harleys, eagerly awaiting the arrival of our friends. At 9 PM, they disembarked, greeted with warm handshakes and cheers before we escorted them to their hotel.

The Duemari Chapter was already gathered in the lobby, ready for a lively evening of conversation and camaraderie. Our leader, Silvio Caruana, officially welcomed everyone to the Island to Island event, expressing gratitude for their presence, detailing the weekend’s program, and distributing official event T-shirts.

By midnight, it was time to rest and recharge for another exhilarating day ahead. Saturday promised more incredible rides, stunning sights, and shared experiences, with everyone eager to make the most of this unforgettable weekend.
