Hey, Handsome!

The day we’ve all been waiting for finally arrived—the 35th Fatboy Anniversary Run! The excitement had been building for weeks, and the anticipation was off the charts.

We gathered at our usual spot in Mriehel—Kettles. And let me tell you, the numbers were strong. Over 40 bikes rolled in, with nearly half of them being Fatboys. All gleaming in the sun and ready to hit the road.

But it wasn’t just the numbers that were impressive… oh no. We had 19 Fatboys in total, and what a line-up! From the iconic 1990 Gray Ghost to the brand new 2025 Icon Gray Ghost, we had an array of anniversary models, Terminator models, and a few custom-built masterpieces that reflected the unique style of their owners. Every bike had its own personality, but one thing was certain: in their own right, they are all special.

After a few laughs and chats, Silvio gave us the debrief, and we were off. Our route? Kettles > Rabat > Buskett > Dingli > Siggiewi > Fawwara > Maqluba in Qrendi.

We stopped in Qrendi for some photos and more bike admiration. Some of us even took the chance to clean off the road grime that had collected on our ride, courtesy of the rain-drenched B-roads.

After a quick 20-minute break, we revved up and headed towards Valletta. This time, we stuck to the main roads, and rolled into Valletta Waterfront around 11:15. And let me tell you, what an entrance we made!

I can safely say that Valletta Waterfront has never experienced such a rumble… not even during the Great Siege! And who better to cause such a stir than La Valette? (Excuse the pun).

Once we arrived, we set up a static display with ease. The air was electric. Paqpaq was there filming, capturing every moment, while we chatted and showed off our bikes to tourists who couldn’t resist stopping to snap photos and ask questions.

Soon, the hunger hit. Hard Rock… here we come! Of course, we took over the entire indoor space of the venue—drinks, good food, good company… what more could we ask for?

But was that enough? Hell no!

A few of us decided to take our bikes for another short spin, grab a coffee, and maybe some sweets to round off the day.

And just like that, the day came to an end.

What a ride! What a day! Another successful event in the books.

La Valette Malta members, you ROCK! 🤘

Can’t wait for next weekend—I’m sure we’ll find something even more exciting to do. Until then, ride safe and keep the rumble alive!
